21 Dec: Northside Sun: Infrastructure on Expedition Point Nearing Completion

The first development to be built at the Ross Barnett Reservoir since 2007 is nearing the completion point where lots can be purchased and homes can be built. Developer Frank Perkins said the subdivision, Expedition Point, is anticipated to go into lot sales around the first of the year with weather permitting. The infrastructure is nearly complete as residential roads have been installed along with the plumbing, water, and sewer systems. A proposed 123-acre residential development overlooking the Ross Barnett Reservoir near State Highway 43 with direct access to the Natchez Trace Parkway recently received formal approval, and home construction is expected to start in late 2021, and early 2022. The development, Expedition Point, will be a lakeside community located at the intersection of the Natchez Trace Parkway and State  Highway 43 in Madison County. The Pearl River Valley Water Supply District has approved the Development. 06 Nov: Mississippi Business Journal: Expedition Point receives final approval to begin development

A new waterfront community in the metro Jackson area, Expedition Point, will move forward now that final approval has been received from the Pearl River Valley Water Supply District. Developer Frank A. Perkins is working with civil engineers and other public agencies to begin work on the land. “I’m happy to say that the vote by the PRVWSD board to approve the agreement was unanimous,” Perkins said.
